This Privacy Policy explains how Liora, operated by DASTCOMMERCE LTD, handles personal information when you visit lioraone.com, place an order, contact us, or interact with our marketing.
For information about Shopify’s own processing, see its Consumer Privacy Policy. Where Google services are used, see How Google uses personal information.

Some providers, including payment providers and Shopify for certain services, determine their own processing purposes. Their privacy notices explain those activities and the choices available to you.
2. Personal information we collect
The information involved depends on how you interact with us:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|

| Order and transaction information | Products purchased, order numbers, amounts paid, payment status, delivery records, returns, refunds, and correspondence about an order. |
| Payment-related information | Billing details, payment method, transaction references, and limited payment details supplied by the payment provider. Card information entered at checkout is processed through the relevant payment service. |

Please do not send full payment card details, security codes, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information in support messages.
Certain information is needed to complete a purchase, process payment, deliver goods, or address your request. If you do not provide it, we may be unable to perform that service. Optional marketing consent is not required to place an order.
3. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you when you browse, order, create an account, subscribe, or contact us. We also receive information through cookies and similar technologies, subject to your choices and applicable law.
Other sources include Shopify, payment providers, delivery and fulfilment providers, and service providers supporting our store. For example, a payment provider supplies payment confirmation and a carrier supplies delivery updates. Where advertising or analytics services are used, they can provide information about visits, campaign interactions, and attributed purchases.
4. How and why we use information
Where UK or European data protection law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Process purchases, take payment, arrange delivery, and administer contractual returns and refunds | Performance of our contract with you; legal obligations where a remedy is required by law. |
| Respond to product enquiries and requests connected with a proposed purchase | Steps you request before entering a contract. |
| Provide customer support and resolve complaints | Contract where the request concerns your purchase; otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and resolving concerns. |
| Keep accounting records and comply with lawful requests or applicable obligations | Compliance with legal obligations. |
| Protect the store, investigate suspected fraud, and establish or defend legal claims | Our legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention, and protecting legal rights; legal obligations where applicable. |
| Understand and improve how the store works | Our legitimate interest in operating an effective service, with consent for cookies or other tracking where required. |
| Send optional marketing and personalise or measure advertising | Consent where required. Where the law permits marketing to existing customers without new consent, our legitimate interest in promoting relevant products, with an opportunity to opt out. |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on your rights and reasonable expectations. We do not treat visiting the website or accepting this policy as blanket consent to optional tracking or marketing.
5. Who we share information with
We disclose information where relevant to the purposes described above to:
-
Shopify, which hosts our store and supports checkout, customer accounts, transactions, and related store services.
-
Payment providers, to process payments, refunds, authentication, and fraud checks.
-
Fulfilment providers and delivery carriers, to prepare, dispatch, deliver, and track orders or manage returns.
-
Technology and customer service providers, supporting communications, hosting, store functions, and customer enquiries.
-
Analytics and advertising partners, where those services are enabled and subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
-
Professional advisers and public authorities, where necessary for accounting, legal advice, compliance, investigations, or protecting rights.
-
Parties involved in a proposed business transfer, where necessary for a merger, acquisition, or restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
Providers processing information on our behalf are subject to appropriate contractual obligations. Providers acting independently are responsible for their own processing under applicable law.
6. Shopify services
Shopify processes information to provide and maintain the platform on which our store operates. This can involve processing outside your country.
Where Shopify’s enhanced services, including Shopify Network Intelligence, are enabled, Shopify can combine information about interactions with our store with information from interactions with other merchants and Shopify services. This supports services such as improving shopping experiences, protecting against fraud, and advertising, subject to applicable permissions and privacy choices.
For details, read Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also visit Shopify’s Privacy Portal to learn about Shopify’s processing and exercise available rights directly with Shopify.
Requests concerning Liora’s use of your information should be sent to support@lioraone.com.
7. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Our store uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
-
Required: Operating the cart and checkout, supporting login, maintaining security, and remembering privacy choices.
-
Personalisation: Remembering preferences and tailoring the shopping experience.
-
Analytics: Understanding visits and interactions to assess and improve the store.
-
Marketing: Measuring advertising, understanding campaign results, and showing relevant advertisements on other services.
Where consent is required, optional cookies and comparable tracking are used only with your consent. You can accept, decline, or change optional categories through Cookie preferences in the website footer. You can withdraw consent there at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
You can also manage cookies through your browser. Blocking required cookies may prevent functions such as the cart or checkout from working correctly. Preferences may need to be set again on another device or after clearing browser storage.
Cookies may expire at the end of a session or remain for a defined period. Their duration depends on their purpose and the provider. Information about Shopify cookies is available in Shopify’s Cookie Policy.
Where Google advertising or analytics services are enabled, Google may receive online identifiers and information about visits, interactions, and purchases to provide measurement or advertising services, subject to applicable consent requirements. See How Google uses personal information.
Advertising partners may combine permitted information with activity from other websites or services. Choosing not to receive personalised advertising does not necessarily stop all advertisements.
8. Marketing choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in a message or by contacting us. If you have subscribed to text marketing, use the opt-out instructions in the message or contact us for help.
You can object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time. This includes related profiling. We will stop that use when you object.
Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary service messages about purchases, delivery, refunds, security, or a request you have made. We may retain a minimal record of your opt-out so we can respect it.
9. International transfers
Our store operates from the United Kingdom, and Shopify and other providers may process information in other countries, including Canada and the United States. Overseas fulfilment and delivery services may also need information to handle your order.
Where applicable data protection law restricts a transfer, we use an appropriate legal mechanism. Depending on the transfer, this may involve a recognised adequacy arrangement or contractual safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum.
Contact support@lioraone.com to ask about the safeguards relevant to your information or request a copy, subject to necessary redactions protecting confidential information.
10. How long we keep information
We determine retention by the purpose of the information and applicable requirements:
-
Orders and financial records: For the period needed to fulfil and document transactions, meet accounting and tax obligations, and address returns, payment disputes, or legal claims.
-
Customer accounts: While needed to provide the account and related services. After closure, relevant transaction records may remain where required for another lawful purpose.
-
Support communications: For the period needed to resolve the issue and manage reasonably foreseeable follow-up, complaints, or claims.
-
Marketing information: Until you withdraw consent or opt out, or until it is no longer needed for the relevant marketing purpose. Limited suppression and consent records may be retained to demonstrate and respect your choices.
-
Technical, analytics, and security information: For the period appropriate to measurement, troubleshooting, or security needs, taking account of provider settings and your choices.
Legal obligations or an ongoing dispute can require longer retention of relevant records. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it non-identifiable in accordance with applicable requirements.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to:
-
Access personal information and receive information about its use.
-
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
-
Request deletion, subject to legal exceptions.
-
Restrict certain processing or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
-
Receive eligible information in a portable format.
-
Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
-
Challenge certain automated decisions and request human involvement where the law provides that right.
Payment and fraud prevention services may use automated assessments to identify suspicious activity. If you believe an assessment has affected your transaction, contact us so we can investigate the issue or explain the relevant provider’s review process.
To make a privacy request, email support@lioraone.com or write to our business address. You do not need to create an account. We may request proportionate information to confirm your identity or an authorised agent’s authority.
We respond within the applicable legal deadline. For UK and EEA requests, this is generally one month, subject to permitted extensions or other lawful adjustments. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain the reason and any available complaint or appeal route.
12. Additional information for US residents
Where applicable state privacy law applies to our processing, you may also have rights to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain forms of profiling, and to appeal a decision about a privacy request.
Disclosing online identifiers or shopping activity to advertising partners can qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under some laws even if no money is exchanged. The relevant information categories, purposes, and recipient categories are described above.
For these requests, contact support@lioraone.com. You can also manage optional browser-based advertising through Cookie preferences. Where required by applicable law, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device sending the signal.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. If an appeal is available, send it to our privacy contact with the original request reference; we will explain the outcome and further options required by law.
13. Security, children, and external services
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No website, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Our store is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should not have been collected, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Our website may link to external websites or services. Their operators are responsible for their own privacy practices. Review their notices before providing personal information.
14. Complaints and changes to this policy
If you have a privacy concern, contact us so we can address it. You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority without first contacting us.
In the United Kingdom, contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. In the EEA, you may contact the supervisory authority where you live, work, or believe a breach occurred.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, services, or legal obligations. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will give additional notice or request consent before making a relevant change.
